Got this message from a supplier this morning

"I heard late last night that the extension time is being push back from the 12[SUP]th[/SUP] Dec to either 24[SUP]th[/SUP] Dec, 8[SUP]th[/SUP] Jan or 31[SUP]st[/SUP] Jan. An official announcement from DECC is to be made tomorrow.

Anybody able to confirm?

My main wholesaler told me that December shipments are all sold, they stopped taking new orders as of yesterday, so even if this is true I cant get stock.
 
Yup, we're still stuck with Dec 12th, subject to a consultation period ending after the event. For that alone Barker deserves my boot up his 'arris. I've even got me pointiest winklepickers out of the loft specially.

Never ever thought I'd have to turn work away but with no stock and uncertainties over getting hold of any there's not much else I can do. Was hoping to fit at least one more job in before the deadline.
 
I have heard the same rumour form a well known national plumbing and renewables supplier who were in a meeting with Greg Barker yesterday.

Lets see what tomorrow brings.
