I’ve been banging on about the FatallyFlawed campaign for years, long before I joined this site. Yesterday I got an e-mail from the organisers thanking me for pushing the message wherever I can.
Gave me a nice warm glow :o

That's a new one on me, i always found them to be a pain due to adding time to PIRs when having to remove them all whilst testing at sockets but i didn't realise they were actually potentially dangerous! Will probably spread the word about this one as it'll save me time and potentially lives.

The more people that spread the word the better. We have one of the best protected socket systems in the word, why compromise it.
I’ve been anti these things since just before my son was born, he’s 26 now.

Success!

Went back to the doctors today, not a socket safety cover in sight. The Sherwood Forest NHS Trust has withdrawn the use of them from all surgeries.

I’m moving soon so there may be other battles to fight yet.

Been to my doctors again today, he told me that there is now a NHS directive banning child proof safety socket covers from all surgeries in England and Wales.
If you go to see your doctor and they still have them in place just point them out and tell them to check up on the directive.

Now for OFSTED!

Wasn’t to happy with the rest of what he told me!
