Haha ye the shower be off.Should I do it inside the shower?
but don't run the shower at the same time. ??
You need to test the outgoing line and the outgoing neutral, with the earth on the earth bar.Is a shower rcd, arranged ro the side of the ccu. What the correct procedure.
I'm earth on earth bar, neutral on bottom left on rcd, and live on top mcb. The rcd is just tripping once, says trip on the megger.
Should I do it inside the shower?
That the board, do on the bottom neutral of the rcd and bottom of the mcb?You need to test the outgoing line and the outgoing neutral, with the earth on the earth bar.
The way you describe it, it would seem that you are testing the outgoing neutral and the incoming live. No wonder it trips.
What make of board is it?
Is this a split load board?
Maybe a pic would help...
That's because someone with only three fingers did it.Blimey…
you could drive a bus into the cable entry on the isolater switch
Its a megger 1731 mate,Well there’s a pointless shower isolator.
yes bottom neutral of rcd and bottom line, which is also bottom of mcb via busbar. Mcb off. Earth on earth
