Good evening everyone,
Can I pick your brains please? I live in France and have a Rosieres electric oven - model FE 5573 RU. I installed it new 17 years ago and it has been superb.

It has now stopped working and shows three flashing lights on the control panel. I have contacted several local French "repairers" of domestic electrical equipment. Not even a reply to my emails, and I speak French!

Any suggestions please as to what might need replacing?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Tony

Good evening everyone,

Very many thanks for your input. Vortigern was the nearest to the answer. I disconnected the oven, popped it into my van, and took it to a local repairer here in France. He did a test and informed me that someone must have inadvertently touched the "P" Pyrolyse (clean) button. This obviously confused the poor old thing. The answer was to disconnect the oven, wait a few minutes - this re-set the default settings, then reconnect. It worked like a charm.

Now that was a wee bit cheaper than buying a new oven. Simple!
