Tester Calibration

Hi, can anybody recommend a place to get my Megger MFT Calibrated around Chester or the North-west?Or are most places done on a collection and drop off service?

Yesss Electrical have some massive promotions on from time to time I've just had two Megger mft's done 1720 and a 1730.
the first was free the 2nd one was £25.00 I have never seen so many electricians and mft's in one wholesalers on the same day.

I don't know if they do it regularly or if it is just random promotions but maybe ask at a local branch they have stores all over the place.

how much is cheap? i cant see any prices on there sites and my local wholesaler wanted to charge an arm and a leg using calibration centre

I've used Mike from OSCS a couple of times, and very happy with the service. If there are a few MFTs to calibrate, you can get a better price. He can also come to you on site somewhere (so long as you have a 13A socket available for his tester, with a reasonable Zs, i.e. not on a long extension lead).

Thanks guys, in the end I went with Yesss Electrical in Birkenhead. Cost £60 and took 3 days. No complaints.
