There will be long periods of no driving. Occasional cooking with 1500 watt appliance, charging several phones, computers, wireless speakers etc., An upgraded sound system with a portable projector plugged in.
If you could simply tell us what you would do if you had a 2006 Grand caravan l with 210000 miles, and needed to live in your car for a while--large purchases are not an option. Upgrade alternator-what to look for-type?
Upgrade battery, add a second or third, maybe starting battery and add deep cycles?
How to charge the deep cycle batteries?
Wire the car to utilize the new system-Romex?, Grounds, type of fuse box and fuses, outlets type location and number?
We plan on ubering and Lyft rideshare whenever we are not on personal time. So we'll be living in the van, no access to shore power (maybe occasionally), and Don't plan on installing any permeant appliances. The van had stow and go seating so easy to transition from sleeper to transporter....
Is there a 2000 watt converter we might just install under the hood to existing system or with a simple upgrade, rather than more involved install?
