I finished my Level 2 on 2330 and now this is changing to 2357. Me college is not offering 2357 this year as they are not ready. They are offering 2330 tech cert and this is not funded any more, hence one has to pay full fee course which is £1750/- Most of them in my class are opting out as most of us cannot afford to pay.
Is there an alternate to do this and go on to become an electrician. Please help...

from what i have heard when the new qual comes in there will be an option to add on any missing units for those who have completed the level 2 to either boost them to level 3 or replace with the new 2357, but for those not on apprentiship there will still be no funding, i know its expensive but its maybe worth trying to get the money and getting it over and done with.
try checking with other colleges some still offer funding for those on low income etc
