Why has company got involved. Why didn't they call your self about there issue. Cards on table did they approach you as they do and ask for a foreigner so was expecting a cheap job then for one reason or another they fell out with you so out of spite they thought they would try to drop you in the poo and call company they thought you worked for.

Did you give her a quote?

Did she agree (in writing if need be) to the quote?

Did you do what was on the quote?

Did you issue a legal cert?

Did you invoice her properly?

If the answer to all the above is 'yes' then the other company have no reason to get involved at all, it is not poaching work it was a private house and not council. It is not their contract but yours. You have every right to pursue this through the courts.

I suspect that as this bird is a scum bag and is just trying it on. You have been the victim of the typical low life that occupies this type of house and unfortunately, country, at the moment.

I would tell the other firm that youve had legal advice and to butt out, to threaten her with court action and see what happens next.

Bloody joke!!

I assume the company he's subbing for is thinking if they hadn't sent you to the other job you wouldn't have had that enquiry so there fore it was their enquiry and you taken it and not said anything.

I think i understand what's happened as far as the customer is concerned!! The OP isn't registered with a scheme provider, so she thinks he isn't a qualified electrician (typical). Adding insult to injury (in her mind) he has gone through LABC which has added extra cost to the CU change.

Any costs involved with the OP's company re checking his work etc, should be borne by the complaining client, as that is a contract between the customer and the company, and nothing whatsoever to do with the OP!! Any checking of suspected stolen material should be at the companies cost, again nothing to do with the OP unless it's proven that stolen materials were found to be used!!
