electrical work
Electric field work is the work performed by an electric field on a charged particle in its vicinity. The particle located experiences an interaction with the electric field. The work per unit of charge is defined by moving a negligible test charge between two points, and is expressed as the difference in electric potential at those points. The work can be done, for example, by electrochemical devices (electrochemical cells) or different metals junctions generating an electromotive force.
Electric field work is formally equivalent to work by other force fields in physics, and the formalism for electrical work is identical to that of mechanical work.
I think i was rushing to fit a new light fitting. And got some cables trapped . Long story short light fitting smoked and went black. Have replaced fitting but really knocked my confidence is this just part of the job.feeling like a damn cowboy

Hi,
I've recently done a Level 2&3 Electrical Installation course, and since come to the quick conclusion it's not worth the paper it's printed on. I know lots about hysteresis, and not very much about wiring up a house! I'm looking to work with a spark around the Dartford area so I can learn...
Hi All
I’m looking to get into the electrical industry.

Im in a bit of a pickle with this one.

Evening all.
Is there a stigma of signing off someone else’s work?

Anyone who strictly would not entertain this?

I’m currently retraining, completed level 2, intended to do level 3 then NVQ. It seems nobody will hire you without the NVQ & experience so I don’t know how I’d manage to complete the NVQ. It has me questioning whether it’s even worth pursuing level 3 and retraining?
I guess the alternative...

I'm 41 and looking at a new 'DEI' course, partially funded by my current employer. Not currently thinking of making the leap to a full time spark but would like to build knowledge and earn a bit on the side of my current job and create a safety net incase of redundancy (my field is not the most...
