have you reset the panel before trying to set it? with the lid back on, try customer code then reset key.

it won't activate till the exit timer has timed out.

Hi. Just joined the forum. Not an electrician by trade,I am a Mechanical Engineer. Our old alarm was a Logic 4, today, I have just replaced this with an Optima Compact G4. Rather than program out the unused zones,I have just linked them out in the panel. I would like to program a part set for at night, and this wold would be on zone 2. Instructions mention programs 2 or 3, but I don’t know what mine is. I am just asuming that if zone 2 is on program 2, I would set it as follows, code followed by P then press key 2 to isolate that zone. Is this correct? Thanks
Martin

if i rem correct. you programme the zones you want to be off at night as part set omitted.then you have part set 1, part set 2, can have a lookk in the manualtomorrrow when the beer glasses have reset to normal vision.

I just put the code in for the alarm and omit the upstairs sensor zone. Easy..
