Hi everyone,

You probably see this type of thread time and time again but there is so much information about training courses online that I would prefer to hear from those who may have been through it already.

1. Which providers should I consider and which to avoid (I've spoken to BTSC, RF Training and New Career Skills so far)
2. Intensive vs. Part Time (Trainer vs. College)
3. Any major considerations before committing to a Training Provider

I am currently working in an office environment and want a more practical job where I can be my own boss.

Any advice is appreciated.

Regards
Sham

if you can do the 2330 at college part time, that,s the best way. the college courses do have a practical element. then 17th, which can be done after or at the same time.

My first bit of advice if you consider using any intensive training is be prepared to part with quite a large amount of cash, and not make it back for a good few years.

Train to be plumber instaed as anyone can unblock a bog, plus joe public don't seem to be able to do plumbing so will always call a plumber, where as for some reason everyone can do electrics no problem, so always tend to do it themselves
