Evening All,

Just wanted some information about this cutout. It is a large detached three bed property on a tns system. I have been asked to change some faceplates in the kitchen, but i have never seen this type before. If anyone could give some info for future reference i would most appreciate it. And i am assuming that the second res tail coming from the top the left of the meter with the tiny bit of black tape is just where they ran out of the neutral tail.

are those tails double insulated? it's totally naff to use red tail for neutral.

i would ask your local DNO to upgrade the head, and fit a 2 pole isolator.

Dno wont replace this as its not metal clad and not dameged. It should have a cartridge 60 or 80 amp me fuse. Its quite common to find both phase and neutral run in the same colour.

Yep as in grey tails but the neutral should at least be ringed or otherwise identified.....like above..totally naff this..........
