Hello all, i have some dead testing to do, i just have a new megger Robin KMP3075DL and when using it in Insulation test mode (500v - 20Mohm) on 2.5 twin + earth as practice, i test between LINE and CPC and get the reading from the display (up arrow 1) so on my schedule of tests sheets what would be the best result to write down?? (friend told me to draw the infinity symbol) im a little stuck on this one, could anyone advise please

>20 as that is what the meter is reading. Do not use the symbol for infinity.

Infinity symbol is no longer allowed mate, write the number your tester gives you for example >200M.

thanks thats great for the reply. the result im getting is (UP ARROW and 1) do you think that would be an acceptable result? or would you advise >200M? thanks

Your meter according to your original post was set on a 20Mohm scale so you fill in >20

and just to confirm:-
if the megger is set to.

20Mohm = >20
200Mohm = >200
2000Mohm = >2000

thanks
