Hi

I am trying to fill in a Schedule of test results for a domestic installation. I have one question:
When filling in the the sheet under the section Overcurrent protective device what goes in the "Type" part? Is it acceptable to just say TYPE B or do i have to get the whole number like B 60890?. Then of course I ll mention the rating.

Thanks.

not heard from you for a few weeks nazoom , dont tell me you've been doing your own homework for a change lol ?

record bs60898 in the "type" box
record B32 / C16 etc in the "rating" box.

edit ; ignore the above , all horribly incorrect , facepalm moment.

You need to record both the BS EN number and the type.
There should be separate sections for this information.
If there isn't separate sections for this information, then your schedule doesn't comply with BS7671.

There should be one column for BS EN number(I.e. 60898), one column for type (I.e. type C), and one column for rating (I.e. 32amp)
