Thing is the circuit was on a RCBO and wouldn't trip and when I corrected the socket and checked the others which where all fine the RCBO still wouldn't trip so i had to replace it.Well at least it would function (if there was no RCD).
Exactly what I thought, the rest of the sockets are EATON which layout is the same as the the way it was connected.That looks like a standard double socket has been swapped out for a USB version and the cables connected in the same order as they were before.
Owner said it worked for some years but microwave had stopped working a while back. N must've been just touching in the bottom of the receiver, I guess.Blimy, that's not even a close one - it's well down on to the insulation.
