earth leakage

anyone know the earth leakage for pa equipment? had an rcbo tripping due to the equipment. faulty equip or earth leakage?

You have to test the equipment.

We on the forum have no idea of the set up or equipment so can not answer it for you.

it's like asking the IR of wet string. how thick and how wet is the string?

there.s bound to be an average. mics are bad/ok speaker etc. only askin for future info, someone will know.

Generally you should get zero earth leakage on PA amps and equipment.I have been repairing and PAT testing that type of gear for years.Possibly faulty mains transformer if you are getting leakage.

as i said, im not sure if it was leakage or just faulty equipment, it was a callout i got today. no power at a wedding, not THE wedding obv, i just wanted power on. not hanging about to check the stuff. HOLD THE WEDDING I NEED TO PAT TEST THESE SORRY. lol.

totally, i turned up like dell boy at the main entrance and was politly asked by the photographer to get my van to hell. lol
