Ah, the Sturmgeschütz III was a fine fighting machine, given the choice a brilliant selection for a tank commander to see through an ambush or a meeting engagement. The Jagdpanzer IV however with its better armour arrangement, longer range and faster speed made it a great weapon for blitzkrieg!

Personally however, with the freedom to choose from either side the tank I would most want to be in would have to be either a Hetzer or a Hellcat. Shoot and scoot is and always has been my MO!

Probably why I often like to bodge it and scarper :D

Naaa, hit and move.. Hit and move. Stick around like a concrete block you'll get shredded eventually.

What a beautiful piccie !!

I have one of a WW1 Dreadnought sailing down the Tyne on its way to its sea trials after being built at the famous Armstrong's works.

Bloody magnificent sight - all smoke, might and majesty. I'm reminded of Tidyboiler every time I see it.
