Hi people,

I am installing a three phase supply but the out building I am working in is currently fed by a generator and I cannot gain access to the main supply. I have 3 phase 40a type c mcb which in the niceic test sheets says max is 0.46 ohms. The zdb in the out building is 0.60 ohms and the zs of the circuit is 0.64 ohms which obviously exceeds the max zs. Can this be down to being fed from a generator? As I cannot see the main supply I do not know system or earthing arrangements for this site.
This is a large contract I have and this is the only site I have been on in london that has been a pain and the site says that as my permit is for the out building then I cannot access other parts of the site! I know details are a bit vague but any help would be appreciated
Thanks
