Guys

Called to a HW fault of a heating system, fully pumped 2 plan, 2 X 2port valves

The cylinder is a santon pp120b, the connections are signal in on 1, signal out on 2 and 3 is to grey(permanent live) on the valve, it was wired correctly on 1 & 2 but a neutral was run to 3, has this been damaged?

Cheers

I take it you have altered wiring and it is not working.

I don't think that 3 is used when using two 2 port valves only when using a 2 port with a 3 port so 3 is redundant

Yes your right 3 only used on a mid pos valve, I think there are other issues but I havnt changed anything yet, I just wanted to know if addition of N would damage it

Yes very interesting, Water is heated by a ETA(Austrian) Biomass wood burning boiler, £16,000 worth, water is stored in a buffer tank 2.5m x 1m and then when CH or HW is called for it is pumped from the buffer. CH is underfloor x 5 stats/actuators , both HW and CH are pumped, HW is pumped from main buffer to storage cylinders in question , I've wire one similar before but not an ETA , Boiler is fed via a hopper full of biomass which uses single phase cap start motor to pump the biomass to the boiler
