He changed a mates light fitting to a metal fancy one...had 2 grey cables with 1 brown, 1 blue and earth in each... He connected up the browns and blues in separate choc blocs and taped earths together... And now the downstairs light keeps on tripping the rcd.

Something along them lines anyways :)
 
he'll know he's cocked up when a jumbo jet lands on tesco's car park.
