Anyone havin any problems wiv leds lamps, jus installed load of 11watt led fitting wiv the driver built into the lamp ie 230v 11watt leds, these r controlled by a danler soft grid dimmer,& slave dimmer,so they can b 2 way from door to bedroom, major probs on actually fitting the dimmer onto a 35mm deep box all had to b changed to 47mm.Butt when no lamps r on, led flckers & remains on,this only happens on a singular fitting,or when 2 r switched together when a lamp blows. The rep as never seen this happen before & suggeste a resistor across lamp to resolve prob, there r over 200 lamps!!,On friday he replaced aLL LED LAMPS cos of problems of lamps blowing, this was suppose to of been all compatable wiv each other butt causing all sorts offa probs a nightmare.

crikey is it that bad will try & sort it 4 you cheers bab

Ok start again, just finished an installation of 32 bedrooms, the lighting consists of 230v led lamp fittings, with the use of dimmers & slave dimmers provided by Danlers, controlling them, they r rated at 11watts.With 1 lamp on its own switch, even when off the led lamps flickers & stays on, also the same happens when a lamp "blows" if only 2 lamps r on that switch,ok so far ummm. After alot of probs,a technician --- rep, who supplied these lamps, cud not understand what was happening,so wiv a newer up to date led lamp he replaced all 200+ lamps,& also recommended a resistor across the lamp terminals to prevent flickering of lamp.Just wondering anyone else had probs wiv new technology goin pear shaped, the 1gang flush box we fitted wud not accept the danler dimmer even though in their brochure it was the correct depth,so we had to flush 47mm deep boxes in all bedrooms ,3 in each not a nice job.Hope this is a bit clearer hav a gud w/e cheers bab
