MCS Assesment-Solar Thermal

Hi Guys,

We have an MCS assesment for thermal coming up. It is only for the specific thermal areas as we already have a pv accreditation.

Just wondering if anything other than the MCS/MIS documents for thermal are required?

Does your scheme provider issue any guidance? (sorry if you've already looked into this!)

Possibly a copy of the Domestic Heating Compliance Guide, which I think is a free download, and possibly water supply fittings regulations.

Domestic Heating Compliance Guide has been replaced by Domestic Building Services Compliance Guide 2010 and has lots of useful stuff.

All the standard MCS procedures apply plus:

MIS 3001 for solar thermal systems (kinda says it all..)

You find the parallels in there to Solar PV, it doen't tell you HOW to comply though!
