Me in a nutshell (with minimum of 20 characters)

Morning again fellas. I’m being promoted to introduce myself so I thought I’d better.

My names liam and I’m an electrician (obviously) from Leigh on sea. I’ve recently started my own business and am in the process of revising for my 2396. I want to move more in the direction of designing, so if anyone has any ideas of best way to do this I’d appreciate some tips. I’m looking at doing a autocad/Revit course to assist my designing.

I’m 32, have 2 kids to keep me busy ( and the Mrs ) and currently have both my knees, elbows and shoulder joints working correctly. My backs not too shabby either and I’d like to keep it that way if possible . Hence wanting to go more in the direction of designing.

Anyway that’s me in a nutshell. Any comments or advice welcome.

I myself no longer want to be referred to as 'Human' but as 'Klingon' from now on.

Nothing wrong in working in an office and being a mouse pusher mate..

This might be just the people who I know, me included, but.... If you are doing an Autocad/Revit course then be weary as if you don't use it for a while after the course you may forget how to use it..

Kapla Spoon, changing your nationality will mean changing your location, and it's not enough to say you come from the Klingon Home World either.

But I like it up here in the NW... I will cry if I have to leave...
Next you will be saying that I have to learn how to speak Klingon... Not much change of that... I have to Google half of the English words so I know how to spell them, I'd be buggered with Klingon.

I think he just says that cause being born in Poland is better than being born down south, so I just makes him sound better...

think he was born in this country of Polish parents who came here after WW2.same as my lady. she speaks Polish fluently, but not so hot on the written words due to lack of use.

Haha yes! My bad! Of course I should make sure I don’t upset the women, transgenders,mixed race, multinational, multilingual, midgets, dwarfs and pansgenders of our ever increasingly touchy society we live in. I do apologise. Lol there’s a course for everything now days mate so I’m sure you can find one that teaches cling on. I’m sure nic, iet or jib can find ways of taking our hard earned cash for it!!

I have heard it’s a use it or lose it deal in reference to the autocad and Revit. I’m hoping that’ll I’ll be the former so should be ok! I take it no one has actually done it their selves and has any advice?

Nowadays you need to be fluent in Parseltongue, Minionese and Dothraki

Yeah I’ve heard autocad is on the way out and from the research I’ve done on revit, it looks to be a massive improvement. Various designers I’ve spoken to swear by it but they say you should learn autocad as well as some clients will request it.

My daughter is fluent in minionese so I’ve got that base covered. I’m a game of thrones fan and so is the Mrs so Dothraki should be a walk in the park as well.

unfortunately, my brain DNA is configured to understand the technical and scientific sides of life, so I am useless at languages, can't play any musical instrument whatsoever, and I still can't ride a bike or play tennis. Tampax are therefore useless to me.
