Hi all

I've now bee self employeed for a year now as a sparkie. Since leaving a big lighting installation and maintence company. Its now time to setup on my own?


Ive started to notice that a lot of businesses and shops are looking to invest in lighting which last longer and is very green. They are looking at led and longer life lamps. It can save upto 70% + on lighting running costs

I have an idea but cant get the name right for a website. Im looking at a business which converts old lighting to led and energy saving lighting.

Here are some website name options what do you think?

convert 2 led lighting
convert old 2 new led lighting
convert 2 green lighting

Hi all. i've now sorted out a company name and website. it is convertalight. i have the website up and running through weebly waiting for the .com to go through.

take a look and see if anything is missing or needed. i know the spelling isn't sorted thats being done now.

IMHO you need an address on your website, its a bit like handing out cards without an address on - they'll almost certainly go straight in the bin

Brain from Philps lighting has given me the LED Depreciation curve on all its products 1gb worth. I was going to put them on a chart with the stanard lamp. But i thought it might get to techincal for someone to glance at.

Im trying to steer clear on China inports as the poor and do not last what they should.

They way i was looking at things was a company spending money on lamps lighting up posters and signs. This is where LED can make a huge difference in energy bills. But it does depend on site and what the customer requires.

I'm still have some tweks to do on the energy saving section and home page wording thanks. This all help.
