Practising Electrician (Qualified - Domestic or Commercial etc)
I have just booked my first NICEIC assessment for the domestic installer scheme. On the telephone I was told that I needed to have an additional assessment plan due to not holding a "full craft qualification" (NVQ Level 3). I was told that this would include some extra questions and the practical assessment could still be on one notifiable item of work (new circuit).

Having read the small print, it mentions that the assessment plan required me to test a complete rewire!

Anyone else had similar conflicting advice and know what the requirement actually is? Is a full rewire required?

Also, any guidance on the additional questions asked during the assessment plan would be appreciated.

Thanks

You should probably give them another call and ask them to clarify exactly what they want from you and what the assessment entails.
