Hi Guys,

Hopefully you can help?

I just wanted to get some advice on the wiring of the new MC6 WIFI thermostat?

I have attached a picture of what I am replacing and the wiring diagram of the new Thermostat.

Please also see recorded voltage readings I have taken.

Current Honeywell Stat :=
1= 230v always (Red)
4= 230v
3= 0 (Yellow)
2= 0 (Blue)

When thermostat is switched on
4=0
3=230v (Yellow)
2=0 (Blue)

So based on this the new wiring diagram would be?
Red = L ( Live) Blue = N (Neutral) Yellow = NO ( Switched Live)

I am not using it to control Hot water.

Do I need to jumper between L (Live) and COM(Heating)?

Thanks for any advice and if you need any more information?

Thanks.

L (red) to 1.
N (blue) to 2
Y (switched ) to 5
link 1 and 3.

this , i assume , is a room stat, so can only control heating, not hot water.

It is just to use as a room stat. maybe in the long term I may use it to replace the programmer I currently use but I want to see how it works out first
