My (Napit) assessor one month ago said I should now change from 2005 to 2009 as it gave 'better' results. I will, but have been busy since then.
 
Don't the MCS still ask us to use 2005?

Giving better results seems like a pretty bad reason to change.
 
Yes, if you take the documents strictly as they are written.
But Napit and all the others are effectively assessing on behalf of the MCS.
I suggest 'better results' is a good reason - the sap 2005 figure seriously underestimates real world results around here anyway.
But in the larger scheme of things it is a minor point.
