Hi guys. Can't find anything in the regs and can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be acceptable but is there a reg that states a sub main cannot be supplied from another sub main inline of the origin?
Thanks in advance

Discrimination!.... depends on the protective devices and the ocpd's used in the final submain... will a S/C be just as likely to take out the Submain fuse as it would the final circuit.

So any mcb - mcb combination would not meet discrimination albiet you may achieve it between a 63amp and a 6amp but only partial for any other combinations.

There is nothing specifically forbidding it, there would be a lot of installations in trouble if there was!
