any body fitting out side lights with dome nuts on the front , and the bolt keeps going back to the wall on some light fittings .a tip for you rip a piece of carboard off the box that it came in, stuff behind the bolt head at the back and hay presto .the head will not move back .
 
Scrap them,refit with ordinary screws ha ha,there rubbish
 
i know the ones you mean. usually then awful cheap coach lamps. i usually bung in a blob of blu-tac.

Ok for back entry,if you come in the side etc you have to chop away the brick or cut away at the plastic,awesome
 
Even worse on rendered walls where the fitting doesn’t fix flat. Your little bolt slides back into the gaps between stones.
Blue tac or pyro putty if you’ve still got a stick of that in your box
 
Bodgeit, Legit and Scarper............ are all in the room together, just need Major Disaster and General Accident to complete the set.
