Not totally ignorant about wiring, but my bathroom ceiling light has got me totally baffled, so appreciate any help - forgive me in advance if I am being totally dim (clever pun!).
Initially replaced the bulb, 2D 4 pin, didn't work, so thought perhaps it was a faulty bulb, and changed it for another. No joy. Maybe the wiring was loose, so checked that also, definitely got current as I wired up a regular pendant light, and it works fine, as does the pull switch. Therefore I assumed it must be the fitting. Bought a new bathroom ceiling LED light, wired that up, but that doesn't work either. Can it really be that I have a faulty new fitting, or am I missing something here? Any help greatly appreciated before I have to call out an electrician, which I really can't afford
Many thanks, Steve
