Hi, My first post so hopefully I am correct in posting it here.

My question is, I am thinking of an IP rated outdoor socket for the back garden.

I have drilled out to the exterior and now wish to move the socket 1 meter away from where the hole is.
I would say use of steel conduit would be best for this application but what cable type would you use in the 20mm galvanised conduit?
OSG doesn't recognise T&E being used in Conduit, and I don't believe singles would be suitable for use passing through bricks without mechanical protection of the sleeving.

Kind Regards and Thanks for your help everyone

I would treat the T+E as multicore, method B, if I was going to run it in conduit. Personally, I would forget the conduit and use NYYJ or SWA, but it's your call.

I was also thinking that, but what also comes to mind is flex cable which you can strip back and turn into singles if needed for bends etc.
