Hello,
I would like to ask maybe someone can refer me to a good place to take 17th edition courses in london?
I tried to look for some, but can't find any reviews.

Thank You

Maybe I'm stupid, put it shows me only list of centres, but how to know is that course they're doing there?
Anyone can refer me to a GOOD place for 17th edition courses?

Did you not try what post #5 suggested. Seems it'll show up loads of places then its down to you. They don't bite!

I thought it will show more information, it shows address only, no contact number there. I'm not sure if all of these 7530 places does 17th edition.
I did as it says in 5th post.

Simple electrics installation, understanding about wiring, testing.
I'm working at the hotel(as maintenance) at the moment and I would like to move on to better place, already 3years at the same hotel, but to get to better hotel as engineer they're asking 17th edition certificate.
And that would be useful later on in my life, i'm only 23yo

Is there any option to do exam only for City & Guilds 17th Edition 2382-12 without any training course ?

You will be wasting your money, you need to understand where the information is in the Regs book.
There isn't enough time in the 2hr assessment to search for all the answers to 60 multichoice questions.

Althought the pass mark is only around 60%.

to the OP I am sitting my 17th edition 2383-12 at Logic4training at the Northolt centre, I am sitting the exam only option which is £125 + vat. Guildford collage are offering the exam only £95 but I could not be bothered to travel.

PS: has anyone got any papers for the 2383 - 12 exam so I can get a feel for the exam content, all my papers are old and some go back as far as the 16th which can be very confusing as the answers have changed on certain questions and some things don't even exist in the new book. It is nice to look back in the old book but for the purpose of the exam would like an 2383 - 12 paper.
Thanks in advance PM me for my email.

For some reasons this thread does not seem to be getting any views??? Just wanted update everyone and that is that I passed with a total overall passmark of 95% and 100% in six of the 8 subject categories. Found it a walk in the park. If I was to give a tip to any one and that would be to learn the break down of the questions. I found it very useful for going back on questions that I had flagged.
Break down as follows...

4 C1
-----------------------3
3 C2
-----------------------7
5 C3
----------------------12
14 C4
----------------------26
15 C5
--------------------- 41
6 C6
---------------------47
10 C7
---------------------57
3 C8
---------------------60

GOOD LUCK ALL.
