Bit out of practice with 3phase design, and want to learn more.

Just want to check if this would be correct:

Ib = KW/V*1.732

Yes, as long as there is no power factor :)
and watts not kW

The equation you are rearranging is actually
total power(W) = √3*Vl*Il*PF

you are using Il to be your Ib value and Vl = 400

Thank you for your help there,

Power factor will definately be invloved in the example I'm looking at.... as it has a motor.

Time for a bit more investigation, I will probably be back:)
