Discuss Bahco snips the best? in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

i use CK myself. not tried the bahco. bought a pair of the " ergonomically designed dog's nuts CK ones, them with an angled head. load of pig manure.

ck man myself like the 1.5 an 2.5 cutting bit im so used to them now when i pick some up without the stripper bits i strugle with them .

havent usecd snips since the crap toolkit we used when i was in the army college. I use the cutters below. Will cut and strip upto about 35mm easily. i only use snips for cable ties, and then i use the carpenters pincers.

I use one of these mostly for cutting and stripping cables.

I only seem to use snips for cutting cable ties and cutting in close to other cables.

I'm trying to figure out if that means they're good or bad.

Hi Marvo, I think you'll find that it's both in the one statement. i.e. 'dog's nuts' usually refers to something being perfect etc. 'pig manure' means that they're not.
So they were supposed to be but in reality they're not. as with a load of things in life.

Cheers,
Lofty.
