Firstly I would not have them directly from the CU, you really should have some sort of switch to allow testing/isolation, preferably double pole but not essential provide you verify the line is switched (and not neutral).
Secondly you would be better getting some 4-core cable to link the two, so you have your permanent L, N, and E from the supply/switch to the first, then the 4 core with PL, Switched L, N & E between the two. There are a few places that sell 4-core HO7RN-F rubber stuff that is fine for outdoor use by the meter.

If you wanted to be fancy you could run 4 core to both and have a set of switches indoors to turn them on separately and also to link them as an option...
