Hi,
can anyone recommend a good lighting controller possibly 4 zone for general domestic use?
thanks

Lutron every time

only issues is with min wattage of 40w per zone, prob is i want to use LED lamps !! :(

That's what caps are for, just don't tell the Part L police! :D

Thanks for the advice, will look into the lutron tomorrow. Have fitted a futronix unit in the past but seem to remember it was quite pricey

Hmm... I have seen they do load resistors
But that sort of defeats the object of using low energy led lamps

On two of my zones I'm only running at approx 20W

Not tried it yet though, it might work okay if I set the load type from resistive to capacitive in the config menu on the lutron panel ?
Thanks

Yeah, you're right it does kinda beat the objective of trying to be energy efficient. To be honest though, in smaller domestic settings if you are looking for energy efficiency you wouldn't be using Lutron would ya :D If you're looking for it to provide an energy efficient solution it only really comes into its own in larger commercial applications.
