Hello help needed I have taken down a ceiling light to paint the ceiling. Put it back up and lights stay on there where three live wires together and two neutrals together plus a a fourth live on its own in the ceiling

Make sure metal light fittings and switches have the earths wires properly connected to them.
Thanks mate like a ---- i connected light fitting to three common lives so he de light stayed on found switch live all good thankyou
The 3 reds need to be in a connector on their own, the forth red you mention is the one that goes to the Line/live terminal of the light
thankyou I have been a ---- and connected light live to the three commons so leaving out switch live. Sorted thankyou so much
