it's just an extension of ohms law, by substituting values. e.g. V=IR, and P= VI. so you could say, in the latter equation that P= I x IR or Isq.R.

Get your pen & paper out, starting with those two equations, work out all the variations.
You'll never forget them then! (hopefully )

I don't know about that,if you are like me and was short changed when it came to getting issued the right quantity of the grey matter,it gets harder to grasp after the first 40 years of trying :6:

Another easy way of remembering these equations is to put your finger over the value you need and the equation is provided. Ie if you want R then V/I etc etc

just ignore the dots

Put all equations in the a spreadsheet you only have to remember them the once. Mines got a bit out of hand now, it’s 250 lines.
