Extractor Fan Helios ELS-VNC 100 connection

Hi to all,

I am struggling to connect up extractor fan Helios ELS-VNC 100. I would like that fan to be switched with lighting circuits and overrun for 6 minutes. Could you advise which terminals should be used for connection please?
Could you explain difference with operation by terminal 1 and terminal 3 please?

That's a nice sophisticated fan you have there!
For what you want, you just need to connect permanent L and N to the terminals marked as such, and connect the L from the light to terminal 3.


Pin 1 is to connect a switch to turn off the automatic function. I don't think you need to connect anything to that.
The application of L to pin 3 (ie turning on the light) is what will start the fan. The removal of L from pin 3 (ie turning off the light) will start the interval timer, and the fan then runs for 6 minutes (default factory setting) using the permanent L feed.

The timer period is selected by DIP switches, along with some other parameters. Sounds like you need to set the switches before you finally install the fan.
