No right or wrong way, as long as the cores are identified at all terminations and the GY or bare copper CPC isnt used for anything other than earth or CPC

this is how I have found it, the swa sheath wasn't even earthed, which I have done.

not sure how to get around the unsheathed cores

I would have that trunking out for starters swa to close, then 80 amp switch fuse on each sub, then tails from s/f to isolator.
