Discuss Floorboard removal in the Australia area at ElectriciansForums.net

Hi Ringer, sorry I cant find it on web site. A friend got one 2 weeks ago, so I hope they still sell them. I will try to get the ref number.

How do people cut out the tongues in tongue and groove boards? I've used my multimaster before, but that takes a while, and used my bolster to bash it out but that can get a bit messy.

Also those big holesaws for solid board floors are good, but i hit a central heating pipe with one the other day! It was tight against the underside of the floor, and was the only pipe that hadn't been marked on top of the board. Straight through it with the pilot drill!!

Circular mate

Try and get a measure to the top of the tounge and add 10mm, set the saw to this and it should cut the tounge but not co as far as the underside of the board. as for cross cutting the board add another 5-10mm and cross everything!!!
