I am planning to trench for a 50 amp. generator line from garage to the house. I will be using #6 THHN in 3/4" PVC conduit. The run will be 125 feet. Please advise how deep this should be buried. I have read conflicting numbers. Thanks.

In Uk, our regulations simply state deep enough as to not get damaged... so it depends on the ground.
@Megawatt should be able to advise better.

18" minimum.
Unless you're going under a driveway, parking area, or road. Your local codes may differ, but NEC says 18" minimum. Try not to dig up any sprinklers, or underground utilities.
Be safe.

My friend the correct depth is a minimum of 24 inches
