Evening gents.

Level 3 trainee here so forgive a maybe stupid question but I came across this today. EM lighting circuit, two cores from 4 core SWA into MCB. Brown core switched live off to two way switching, black perm to EM maintaince keyswitch. Maintained colours throughout circuit. Seemed pretty straightforward and logical to me but my college threw a right wobbly having two phase colours in a L1 phase.

How would you gents wire in this situation, single perm brown to top of keyswitch, take the brown switched live from top of keyswitch to two way switching, black from bottom of keyswitch to perm feed of EM lights?

Thanks for your time guys and Merry Christmas!!

never had all this trouble when cables were red/yellow/blue. everybody knew these were pase conductors. standards may have gone up but common sense is out the window. everyone frightened of hurting stupid.
