Light switch replacement question

We have 2 single light switches in a box, they operate a over sink light and a garbage disposal. The disposal stopped working this morning so we went the route of replacing the light switch. My husband got the disposal to work but now the light does not work. He tried replacing the other and now we have nothing. The original switches were push in connector with the hot wire running from one to the other.We cannot find the push in connector switches and do not know how to wire them up with the switches that are available now. We have 5 wires and 4 screws between the 2 switches. Any direction that you can provide would be appreciated. I do not want to pay $50 to have someone come in and reconnect the wires. To make matters worse, the wires are all black so not sure which is which and what I need to do to figure that piece out.

Sunshine welcome to the forum and you need to call an electrician, your husband should have took pictures before he messed with the wiring and it should be a simple job to wire it correctly for an experience electrician. PS don’t let your husband do any more electrical work. Good luck
