i never fitted it by the way!! im just the mug who is paid to maintain the mess that was left behind! fitted by professionals apparently!!

its for HP at Stockton

Why would anyone bother to lie on this forum?

Seems pointless to me.

I would suggest DurhamSpark is being straight up.

Also.....isolation of that stuff is very important..LOL.

Regards.

I believe him because he has said so. No reason to doubt Durham. Anyway this has now become a reaction.

There are many great members on here that give up their time and efforts to give advice to those who need it and Durham is one of them. I have never seen one of his posts that I would question. Continue your good work.

Nice post there durham .....proper work great stuff. Not sure if things have changed but in that UPS Battery room noticed the flours and the grid switches were not sealed type, are the batteries then non vented type. I remember at an hospital I did we had to use sealed lights, switches and sockets, but this was a few years ago and may have just been NHS spec.

Not sure also if it's the camera angle but it looks like it would be a bit of a task to replace any of those batteries on the top level as they seem close to the lights.

Nice indeed!

I have to say though, that photo 34 shows the device that is undoubtedly the most important to maintain!
Keep up the Good work Mr Durham Sparky!

It looks like you get a nice variety of equipment to see to. I'm Jealous!

the grids are standard MK metaclad range and teh lights are the usual vapour proof fittings..!

the batteries in question are sealed and thus give of no gassers during charging and dont require topping up so risk of explosion due to high hydrogen levels are reduced if not entirely removed..! we do have a natural passage of air through the room just on safe side!

top level batteries require a table lift and step ladder!! plenty of room..!! just about to change 1200 batteries on another site!! should be fun!

got to say when i walked round HP data storage i was impressed with the amount of space that the electrical services were given ,Full Electric did a good job from what i saw.

oh its an impressive building i give them that!!

however Full Electric Services (FES) corners have been unearthed and are been sorted internally!! things like dodgy PIR sensors and 2 way lighting and 3 way wired up wrong... important items of equiptment on the switched side of contactors etc when really it needs juice ALL the time...!! all daft things really!
