Really my NVQ has been a nightmare not through my own fault but by others.."tutors" but eventually they put me in contact with a GOOD UN who knew his stuff and he kindly guided me....most difficult thing i ever done..ie interpreting NVQ speek/language.

Cheers for the replies guys..just got to do the new testing/certification now.......which shouldnt be more difficult than this nvq.

My NVQ was a nightmare also.
It wasn't hard as such it was just made to be needlessly difficult, Half the problem is they keep moving the goal posts.

The year I did mine they decided that the whole of the NVQ had to be completed using only 3 jobs!
Now you try finding 3 jobs that cover a entire NVQ you just cant do it so I ended up fabricating jobs and making them far more difficult than they needed to be just to satisfy the criteria.
And then just to add insult to injury they decided that in each job write up you had to highlight each part that satisfied a criteria and then write in the reference numbers of the criteria.
This resulted in a 2 page job write up becoming 5 pages of jumbled nonsense!

From what I gather that was the first and only year they tried that aproach and to be honest ime not surprised it was bloody stupid!
But I did it all the same and never have to do it again LOL

my teacher marked my 2396 design project , C&G still accept the results so no worries.
8 months on C&G still havent sent a man to check it over so thats their look-out.
still got the qual cert.
