need to get an ecs or a cscs card in bournemouth

I have just been offered a start on the 25th, but I need an ecs or a cscs card pretty pronto. What is the quickest way of obtaining one, that doesnt involve driving toLlondon?? I am also pretty flat out with work at the moment, so cant really afford having much time off, is it possible to sit the h and s exam in the evening.
Just out of interest... I got the start through this site, on the thread looking for sparks in Coventry and Manchester, did anyone else go for this??

You should be able to get a CSCS quicker and get a wider range of times; the ECS is specific to the electrical trade so you have to wait a month or so.
the CSCS place is on Old Christchurch road opposite McDonalds, ECS is out towards Wimborne.

Thanks a lot, i will call them tomorrow. I only need it to get on sites, so I dont really care if I just have the cscs card. Just out of interest, can the cscs count towards your JIB card or do you have to have an ecs??

You have to do the ECS test to get the card, because it contains electrical questions.
