Hi just stumbled on this site whilst looking for advice/reviews on intensive training courses,
I have worked as a data installer/labourer/mate for an electrical contractor mainly large sites schools and collegesand offices for the last 15 years. And I now find myself facing redundancy so am considering investing my redundancy in an intensive course , having had a good browse for the last couple of hours there seems to be a large number of sparks who have gone down the traditional route who seem to be against these courses due to the lack of practical experience etc. I seem to fall into the category of a few who have taken these courses in that I do not have 3/4 years to commit to part time learning (which can sometimes mean part time earning) . From the reviews I have read there seems to be a couple of decent training companies out there which has put my mind at rest ( I don't want to throw a large portion of my redundancy down the drain) . Any way enough waffling for now I am off to search the forum some more I am a great lover of forum they are a valuable source of info and shared experience's.
