If your works will involve alterations(adding lights?) You will require additional protection for the lighting as it’s domestic and for the circuits serving the bathroom location. If it’s like for like replacement items then it could be classed as just maintenance and not an alteration or addition to the existing installation.Hi all,
I got job which client ask me to replace 20 down lights and install new bathroom extractor fan but DB is not RCD protected.(client dose not want change DB )
can I do my job without changing DB or I must change DB?

Well deduced, my friend...….with such a bs number above your postReplace CB with a rcbo if available. But I'm guessing it's a board with fuses.

LV inline fan above would sort that.....unless some of the lights are in the bathroom.You will be expected to provide RCD protection for the Bathroom.
