Our MCS was due for renewal on 5th November and we're still waiting for a date for re-assessment. I've heard that they are a long way behind and to be honest I don't think they have the balls to assess during this carry on. You'll probably find that the 6th December will be more like the end of January anyway.

I'd never eally considered what would happen if panel prices dropped and then the deadline was extended. Christ on a bike, the rush would be immense.

Like DP said, the last few months have had an effect on my health. I haven't slept well for weeks and I am constantly losing my temper - not me at all.

You're braver than me - I'm not even planning on holding my usual stock, it'll all be cheaper in the New Year and I haven't any installations before then. We're now planning for next year and prepared to let installations go to allow for the planning. It's going to be a very competitve market out there.

I've had a real short temper the last 5 days, over the hill now though.

I'm pretty ****ed at the prospects after April, i really think we've been shafted. I really can't understand why Solar PV has been destroyed, does the goverment not see the stratagic view of having a 40GW of installed solar PV, the sun will always rise unlike the flow of Russian gas. 40GW is a useful resource if it comes to the crunch. Also the visual nature of solar PV encourages debate and increases the uptake and spread of micro generation, it may be small scale. but widely adopted it will help in the generation of low carbon electrcity, even at 50p/KWH it is cheap. I'm am certain history will look back and say even at 75p/kwh the FiT was a good thing and why was there not more of it.
